LUKAS Cubic-Boron-Nitride Mounted Points

In addition to the LUKAS mounted points with Cubic-Boron-Nitride in vitrified bond we offer mounted points where Cubic-Boron-Nitride has been electro-plated. In this case we combine the advantages of Cubic-Boron-Nitride with those of the electro-plating process. The abrasive used is ultra-hard; in addition, the carrier can be developed and produced in various shapes. Cubic-Boron-Nitride as an abrasive is exclusively used for the grinding of hardened steels. When using these tools you will profit from significant increases in the performance and an improved surface finish in case of streamlined production processes. Thus Cubic-Boron-Nitride will develop potentials in cost reduction and quality improvement. It will also contribute to an efficient production. Electro-plated Cubic-Boron-Nitride can be used in dry grinding – coolants will increase tool life.

Electro-plated diamond points can be manufactured in various shapes. As a result, the shape of these diamond points from LUKAS can be adapted to the application concerned. The LUKAS diamond files are coated with ultrahard abrasives and will demonstrate in practical application advantages in cost and quality. Owing to a wide choice of shapes (for instance flat, round, flat hand, triangular, square, knife, bird tongue) and grit sizes LUKAS diamond files can be adapted to the application concerned.
