In shipbuilding, every processing step counts and must be carried out cleanly on large surfaces and over many running metres. Weld seams are ground out, visible surfaces are finished, rust is removed and substrates are prepared for new coatings. It is precisely this work that is particularly time-consuming and cost-intensive in shipyards. Whether hull, section or steel component: In shipyards, large surfaces and long weld seams need to be processed economically. This requires tools that work well with the material and remain constant even under high loads. The SLTT HybridPerfectionCeramic4x abrasive flap disc is designed to meet precisely these requirements. Its ceramic coating and special flap shape ensure high stock removal on shipbuilding steel and support smoother work with less vibration. This is particularly advantageous where weld seams need to be ground and surfaces need to be machined quickly.

For edges, superstructures and light metals

Suitable tools for steel processing and aluminium parts

In addition to heavy steel constructions, edges, roundings and components made of light metal are also part of daily processing in shipyards. EKR and EKWbr mounted points are designed for the rough processing of steel and are suitable for deburring, rough grinding and for preparing and grinding weld seams. The SIC-ALU mounted point shows its strengths where aluminium is processed, for example in extensions or lighter construction elements. Its special structure prevents the pores from clogging quickly and enables longer work without interruption. Der LUKAS Frässtift Z7 aus Hartmetall zeichnet sich durch die HeavyDuty-Beschichtung aus, die für extremste Einsätze bei sehr abrasiven und harten Materialien geeignet ist. Durch die Kreuzverzahnung des Frässtiftes können harte und zähe Werkstoffe mit geringem Kraftaufwand mühelos bearbeitet werden und die erhöhten Anpresskräfte entlasten den Anwender. Bei der Bearbeitung von Stahlguss, Schweißnähten, gehärteten und ungehärteten Stählen mit hoher Festigkeit und Edelstahl ist ein hoher Materialabtrag in kürzester Zeit möglich. Der hochwertige Stahlschaft des Werkzeugs passt optimal in die Antriebsmaschine. Klemmen, Schlupf oder gar Schaftbruch gehören der Vergangenheit an.

Der LUKAS Frässtift Z3 aus Hartmetall zeichnet sich durch seine mittlere Einfachverzahnung aus, mit der optimale Ergebnisse auf Stahl und Stahlguss erreicht werden. Bei der Bearbeitung von Stahlguss, Schweißnähten, gehärteten und ungehärteten Stählen mit hoher Festigkeit und Edelstahl ist ein hoher Materialabtrag in kürzester Zeit möglich, so dass schnell und effizient gute Oberflächenergebnisse erzielt werden. Die langen Schneiden des Werkzeugs kommen ohne Unterbrechungen aus und ermöglichen mit ihrer kostengünstigen Einfachverzahnung beste Resultate bei der Oberflächenbearbeitung.
